Melissa Aguillon

Ms. Aguillon manages the South Texas Women's Business Center (STWBC), administiring all facets of the the Small Business Administration's STWBC grant. She also develops and implements community, marketing, and media outreach and organizes training classes and roundtable discussions on relevant topics to clients.
Ms. Aguillon attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she received a Masters in Public Administration as well as a Bachelor of Arts. She has participated in the Hispanic Chamber's Alexander E. Briseno, Leadership Development Program and is a recent graduate of the Greater Chamber and the Hispanic Chamber's Leadership San Antonio Class of XXXII.
Prior to working for STWBC, Ms. Aguillon was employed as Director of Marketing for Kell Muñoz Architects, a minority owned Architecture firm and Director of Mason PR, a small woman owned Public Relations firm.
Irma Iris Duran

Ms. Duran's responsibilities include creating and updating training and technical materials, preparing and conducting seminars, providing business counseling and business plan writing services to clients, as well as providing logistical support to the STWBC Director.
With roots in Monterrey, Mexico, Ms. Duran's interest in international affairs led her to pursue a BBA in International Business Management with minors in Finance and German. A UTSA alumni, she was one of six US students selected to attend Munich University and study the EU market. Her most recent experience includes working for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where she was an Account Executive and Consulting for Andrade Business Consultants, where she focused on E-Commerce and International Marketing.
